Aircontact arrange South American round trip for Norwegian PM

In September 2008, Aircontact successfully arranged a charter flight operation, using a CRJ900 from PLUNA, the national carrier of Uruguay. Routing flown was from Rio de Janeiro via Brasila and Santerem in Brasil, to Santiago in Chile. The occation was a state visit by Norwegian Prime Minister, Mr Jens Stoltenberg, with entourage from the governmental sector and the Norwegian business community.

General Manager Ulf Gregersen says everything worked out very well, after months of planning. Brasil and Chile is far away from Norway and we faced a lot of challenges, from securing the needed traffic rights, to put everything into place when it came to handling, seat reconfiguration of the aircraft and catering in remote areas like Santarem in Amazon.
