Background: 
Åshild Woie has worked in the travel industry since 1995. She started at Travelnet Lillesand Travel Agency as a junior consultant, and worked there for one year. In 1998 she started to work part-time for Braathens ASA, besides economic studies, at their ticket office in Kristiansand city and later at the airport in Kristiansand. She was there until 2001, when she started to work part-time beside studies at the leisure travel departement at Berg-Hansen Kristiansand Travel Agency.

After one year her studies were complete, and she began to work full time at the business travel department in the same agency. In 2004 she was back at Travelnet Lillesand Travel Agency, dealing with 24 hours service and administrative tasks, where she stayed until she moved to Oslo and started to work for Aircontact in 2005
