Estonian Air carried 689 800 passengers in 2006; fastest growing business area is still charter operations.

Estonian Air has maintained its strong position in the Estonian aviation market, holding 45% of the market share in Tallinn Airport.

Estonian Air operated 9070 flights in 2006, up just 0.2% from the previous year.

The total number of passengers increased by 7.3% to 689 800.
The load factor was 62%, up 1 percentage point from 2005.
The number of charter passengers grew by 34% compared to 2005, reaching 91 700.
