Jet Airways, India have after a selection process in the Norwegian marked decided to appoint Aircontact as their GSA for Norway. Jet Airways is India’s oldest private airlines and largest domestic carrier after they recently agreed to purchase Air Sahara They are now expanding rapidly their internationals services after ordering not less than 10 x A330 + 10 x B777 + 10 x B787. They already offer 3-4 services per day between London Heathrow and Indian cities and will from August start using Brussels as European hub for flights between India and North America. Daily flights will start on August 5th between Mumbai – Brussels and New York with B777 which later in the month will be followed with flights into Toronto. Jet Airways will be offering code share all the way to Oslo based on agreement made with Brussels Airlines.
Jet Airways had a big signing ceremony in Brussels on May 2nd with Belgium Prime Ministers being present together other ministers and Embassedors. Jet Airways had in this connection dispatched a brand new B777-300 ex Seattle and a brand new A330 ex Toulouse to show these aircrafts with state of the art in flight entertainments systems, seats and interior designs, in 2 and 3 class configuration.
