NDLO extends its ACMI agreement with Aircontact

Norwegian Defence Logistics Organisation (NDLO) has extended their ACMI contract with Aircontact and Denim Air for one year. The aircraft will be based in Kabul, Afghanistan as it has been since February 2006. It will mainly operate as a feeder domesticly in Afghanistan between Kabul, Maimaneh and Mazer e Sharif, but will also be available for other destinations and special operations such as MEDEVAC flights if needed.  Aircontact is very pleased that NDLO chose to extend for another year and feels it recognizes the importent job the aircraft and crews perform. To have a reliable aircraft present in the theatre is very important to have everyday operations run as smoothly as possible, since transport by road is time consuming and in some cases impossible. The contract will run until end of December 2008.
