For many years, Widerøe Flyveselskap (WF) outsourced its charter sales department to Aircontact. That meant we were responsible for answering all inquiries sent to WF regarding chartering and ACMI of aircraft, whether giving a quotation or simply informing that WF has no availability for the requested charter operation. All payments, contract work etc. was done via Aircontact. These years of experience has given us the best possible knowledge about Widerøe and their program, which enables us to still offer you the very best charter sollutions available.

The Widerøe Fleet
WF’s fleet consists of the following three aircraft types:

Dash 8-100
 

• Twin-engine turbo-prop aircraft
• 39 economy seats
• Range of approximately 330 nautical miles, about 1 hour and 30 minutes’ air time
• Can operate on short runways down to 800 meters (special conditions may apply)

Dash 8-300
 

• Twin-engine turbo-prop aircraft
• 50 economy seats
• Range of approximately 725 nautical miles, about 3 hours’ air time

Dash 8-Q400
 

• Twin-engine turbo-prop aircraft
• 78 economy seats
• Range of approximately 800 nautical miles, about 2 hours and 30 minutes’ air time

Widerøe has a total of 30 aircraft divided into these three types. All aircraft are based in different parts of Norway, depending on the route being operated on Widerøe’s commercial network.
